Hudsonville Community Games

Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is delighted to be a part of Hudsonville Community Games, taking place at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds on July 26 from 5:00-8:00 pm.

Community Games plans to provide local families with the following, all for FREE! Meal- Pizza, fruit, cookies, and fair treats Stage Events – Entertaining and encouraging performers sharing the salvation message Family Services Expo – Family organizations and services showcased in our Expo Barn Games- Carnival-style games for kids run by volunteers from sponsoring churches Hands On Farm Experience – Barnyard animals to hold and pet Prayer – Volunteers to pray with and for guests in the prayer tent during the event Door Prizes – Valuable prizes for families to win School Supplies – A gift bag of school supplies for all elementary-age children.

Hudsonville Community Games is held at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds, located at 5235 Park Ave. near Chicago Drive & 40th Avenue. Parking is available off 40th Ave. or Park Ave.

It’s quite incredible that all of this happens almost every day, and every week, by diligent volunteers who embody our diligence core value.

Not only is there a large variety of “things to do,” but also a deep investment by those who say yes to volunteering. Most volunteers serve weekly, some even daily, spending hundreds of hours donating the gift many of us hold most tightly – the gift of time.

In 2023 alone, 420 volunteers invested 49,120 hours – a value of $1.5 million! 

Our core mission is to love, serve and connect with dignity as we follow Jesus Christ closely, watching how he transforms lives – and we often highlight the transformation happening through our Life Skills Program.

What we often forget to highlight is that God is also transforming lives through volunteerism, giving community members purpose, friendship, creativity, and belonging. Here at Love, we believe everyone has something to offer.
