Life Skills
Grow your capacity to thrive financially, relationally, and spiritually.
Right now, 94,000+ households in Ottawa and Kent counties are stuck in survival mode—earning just enough to get by, but not enough to truly thrive.
Life Skills changes the story.
This long-term program helps you break free from survival and build a life that works—financially, relationally, and spiritually.
Our Holland Expansion
Our new Life Skills Program is in need a dedicated team of 30+ volunteers to walk alongside 15 Spanish-speaking families who are working hard to build brighter futures.
Volunteer Support
Whether you love caring for kids, cooking meals, facilitating classes, or offering encouragement as a one-on-one peer support, there’s a place for you here.
This is more than volunteering, it’s about building real relationships, growing hope, and seeing transformation up close. Join us and make a lasting impact, one family at a time.
“The Life Skills Program was a huge blessing to our family. Having 4 very young kids and struggling with living paycheck to paycheck we were unsure what to do… The entire team at Love was so caring and supportive.”
