Transitional Housing Campaign
A LETTER FROM JODI
There’s a housing crisis in Ottawa County and families who are working hard to make ends meet are being hit the hardest.
ALICE families (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) often spend more than half their income on housing, if they can even find it. The result? Constant stress, instability, and little hope for long-term change.
At Love, we’re doing our part to change that. Our Transitional Housing program gives local families safe, income-based housing and critical wraparound support as they build financial stability and relational health.
This spring, we expanded from 3 units to 5, purchasing a duplex in Hudsonville to serve even more families. Each tenant is part of our year-long Life Skills Program and continues working closely with our team toward lasting change.
When a family has secure housing, everything shifts. Stress decreases. Confidence grows. Kids thrive. Parents begin to hope again and can take steps toward a brighter, more stable future.
This is how we help families move from surviving to thriving.
But we can’t do it alone.
We need to raise $340,000 to fully fund this housing expansion—and your gift today can be MATCHED, doubling your impact.
Together, we can demonstrate Christ’s love and offer a path forward.
Will you join us?
Jodi Cole Meyer
Executive Director
Thanks to generous supporters, 72% of the funds needed for our newly acquired duplex in Hudsonville have already been raised!
Now, with a $58,000 matching opportunity, every dollar you give will go twice as far, helping us cross the finish line and fully fund this important resource.
In response to the lack of affordable housing, we expanded from 3 units to 5, purchasing a duplex in Hudsonville so we can walk with even more families on their journey toward stability.
When a family has secure housing, everything shifts:
Stress decreases. Confidence grows. Kids thrive. Parents begin to hope again.
This is how we help families move from surviving to thriving.
But we can’t do it without you.
