Keynote Speaker, Jim Liske is the Lead Pastor of Christ Memorial Church in Holland and Former President/CEO of Prison Fellowship Ministries. He shares of his life mission, “I am passionate about ‘fixing what is broken’ through living and sharing the gospel. I believe the local church is God’s primary plan to intentionally reach spiritually lost people and lead them to full life in Jesus Christ. All we see and experience has been created by and for God, and everyone we encounter has in them the image of God. Through Jesus, all can be redeemed and once again worship the Father. As the Church of Jesus lives and winsomely proposes the gospel, the Spirit will use that witness to restore the Church, communities, and the world.”

Join us on November 17, 2016 at 7PM at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., in Hudsonville.

A love offering will be collected at the concert to support the ministry of Love In the Name of Christ.

It’s quite incredible that all of this happens almost every day, and every week, by diligent volunteers who embody our diligence core value.

Not only is there a large variety of “things to do,” but also a deep investment by those who say yes to volunteering. Most volunteers serve weekly, some even daily, spending hundreds of hours donating the gift many of us hold most tightly – the gift of time.

In 2023 alone, 420 volunteers invested 49,120 hours – a value of $1.5 million! 

Our core mission is to love, serve and connect with dignity as we follow Jesus Christ closely, watching how he transforms lives – and we often highlight the transformation happening through our Life Skills Program.

What we often forget to highlight is that God is also transforming lives through volunteerism, giving community members purpose, friendship, creativity, and belonging. Here at Love, we believe everyone has something to offer.
